I work with fiber and organic matter to make sculptures. A precise combination of crocheted double and half double stitches force mounds to extrude from the consequent tension. This technique allows the spherical to be constructed in rows instead of unanimous rounds. The result is starched and dried over molds, fixing the fibers while retaining flexibility.
